On their visit to the harvest in the federal state of Mato Grosso the film-makers, Jörn and Tammo Gläser show you how soya and grain maize are sown and harvested on mega farms. As well as machines from many well-known agricultural machine manufacturers, a large number of Brazilian manufacturers' machines have been filmed. A highlight of this film must assuredly be the sugar cane harvest and the visit to the second largest sugar cane producer in the world. As usual, a narrator explains the interesting details about the farms, the arable land and or course, the agricultural machines.

The film-makers, Jörn and Tammo Gläser travelled a total of 5,500 kilometres and accompanied farmers and agricultural contractors with their cameras. The rice and maize harvests in various regions are shown. A day's shooting with the largest agricultural contractor in Argentina is included. Local agricultural machines, which can only be found in South America, are often used here. In addition, the film-makers visited cattle breeders, who breed ten thousand head of cattle in the expanses of the pampas of northern Argentina.
